Golden Globes 2011: The Style List

This year's Golden Globes was nothing less than a stylish feast of sweeping gowns and dripping sparkles. It definitely made up for a rather mediocre Oscars last year. I hope this fantastic start will warm up the stars for an ultra-glam Oscars 2011!

Behold, my Style Favourites...

Unexpected Glamazon / Best Dressed:
Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen

Mad Man Style Winners:
Elizabeth Moss in Donna Karen
January Jones in Atelier Versace

Maestros of the Sweeping Gowns:
Eva Longoria in Zac Posen
Olivia Wilde in Marchesa

Trend Citizens:
Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum
Emma Stone in Calvin Klein Collection

Then we've got the "Almost There"s...

You are Beautiful but Please Let Go Of the "Vintage" Look:
Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace

You are Beautiful Please Trim Your Bangs:
Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham

You are Beautiful but Did Getty Images Use a Fish-Eye Camera on You?
(I checked every photo and something is not right with her face; a huge distraction from the gorgeous custom-made gown)
Megan Fox in Armani Prive

You are Beautiful Except for the Creases On Your Gown:
Julienne Moore in Lanvin

You are Beautiful but No Longer Twenty Years Old:
Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs

...and finally, to Natalie Portman and Colin Firth...

You are Beautiful because You are Winners in Career and in Style:
Colin Firth
Natalie Portman in Viktor & Rolf

  1. I think my fav' one is clearly January Jones,
but the worst one is Scarlett who's wearing a dress as white as her skin ... she looks naked ... Not nice :(

  3. @Diane, thanks for the additional image! Scarlett was definitely not at the top of my list. It's a beautiful gown, but I agree the look was a bit too monotonic.
